Hello, my name is Lisa. I created Hanlee Ridge Doodles to be a well-known dog breeding service in Kingsport TN. I have over 30 years of experience in the engineering business where details matter. I have brought that same commitment to my Bernedoodles so you can rest assured you are getting top quality puppies with the best health possible. Our main priority is ensuring the health and well-being of all our animals from birth until they leave with their forever family - and beyond. We only use top breeds for our puppies. The Bernese Mountain Dog:
Bred from crosses of Mastiffs and guard-type breeds, Bernese Mountain Dogs were brought to Switzerland by the Romans 2,000 years ago. They are proud family oriented dogs and love to be lazy every chance they get. The Bernese Mountain dog typically has a shorten life span than most dogs.
The Poodle:
The Standard Poodle is one of the oldest pure bred dogs and its origin, while popularly thought to be French, is German. The name poodle along with the breed is believed to have originated in Germany. Despite the poodle's pop-culture reputation as a pampered lap dog, poodles come from a line of hard-working sport animals. The poodle is a true athlete in every sense. Unlike the Bernie, a poodle can live up to 18 years.
